Sk8ology Show

Shameless self-promotions are shameful...

...except when it's for charity, right?

Hello Blog friends! Some friends and I are going to be in a charity art show on Saturday August 23, 2008. Each artist was given a blank skate deck to paint on.

The show will take place at:

ISM: gallery at the Koos Art Center
540 East Broadway
Long Beach, California 90802

and then it will travel to San Diego in September for the Action Sports Retailer (ASR) Trade Show.

The purpose of the show is to "raise awareness and resources in an effort to support Now That You Know, a non-profit organization that helps to provide ambitious girls from developing countries a secure environment for learning and growth. Proceeds will also contribute to benefiting the youth of our society through the artistic enrichment of our community."

For more information visit: http://www.ismcommunity.org/sk8ology

Hope you can make it!

Here's a glimpse of part of my board.
