Photoshop Class
I'm very fortunate to have been invited by Rich Tuzon to attend an intermediate Photoshop painting class that is being taught at work by one of my favorite teachers from school, Bob Kato. Basically Bob adapted his traditional painting technique as a way to paint digitally in Photoshop. This is a 2 hour master copy (caricatured a bit) of a one of Sargent's self portraits that I painted in tonight's class.

Fantastic work, here! Thank you for the kind words, and best of luck in your art pursuits...
By the way--I love Robin and the Sheriff a couple of posts ago--nice colors & shapes.
Thanks, Anthony!
great stuff here! Very well done.
Craig- that came out very nice.
This is nice. I like how it's very sketchy. Not too pollished. And you get a real sence of the man's character.
Thanks guys!
Hot! Love the feeling of life!
oh wow, very nice Craig.
wow! i like how it looks so traditional! how do you stop urself from rendering! it is almost impossible for me..
Very nice, Craig.

beautiful and classy!
may be caricatured.. but you still got his character and attitude down.. great work!
Nice Craig! I love how it's limited in color but you popped the highlights in the shirt and face just enough to push that dimension. I love your zoo blog too! Very relaxing.
This is so great! I feel inspired to go out and paint!
Beautiful work!
