Princess Turnaround


Drawn in pencil and colored in Photoshop

Here is a sketchy character turnaround and sheet of expressions for the princess character I designed for my “Inventive Figure” class. I’m doing my assignment as a modern twist on the old fairytale "The Brave Little Tailor". [See the previous post for more information.]

Hi. I was wondering how you colored the Princess that way in Photoshop? It looks just like the watercolor in Corel Painter...I have tried to do it in Photoshop but it doesnt come out exactly right...It seems you did it very simply.

Sorry, Ito. At this stage I was teaching myself to paint in photoshop. I believe I was using a standard soft brush with low opacity. Not much more to it!
